One Surgery Down, One to Go

Colin post surgery just after opening his eyes. Everything with the surgery was a perfect success with no complications. He woke up at around 1pm with head pain from the stitches and a really scratchy throat. He will get icechips at 4pm to help with his throat. Right now he is talking and visiting with grandma and grandpa, but still pretty groggy. He will be in ICU for at least two days depending on his condition over the course of that time frame. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers!

This is from Carson’s Daddy: “Glad to see that you are doing well. You are a strong young man and you will rebound from this just fine. Can’t wait to see you on the playground again. Best wishes, from John”.

Am a Dystonia patient who learned about Colin’s surgery from the Dystonia Support Group here in San Diego.
My thoughts are with you for a very speedy recovery and hopes that your DBS does the “trick” and you can be yourself again without the dystonia. Thinking of you!!

    Hi Colin,
This is Conner, we used to be best friends with Carson at CCC. Remember the Easter egg hunt and playing on the playground? We had fun. I am sorry that you don’t feel good. Get better soon!
